Who We Are

We are a community that exists because of God's redeeming grace. We pursue a faith that is rooted in Jesus Christ and sustained by the Holy Spirit. Our desire to live like Christ compels us to love our neighbours and welcome others to journey with us. As we grow through teaching and relationship we strive to reach our community while seeking unity with our fellow Christ followers. We are a community of broken, imperfect people attempting to reveal a perfect Savior.

Statement of Faith

We Believe...

  • That the Bible is God's Word to us, written by men through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, is without error as originally written and is our final authority in all matters of faith and personal conduct. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20,21; Psalm 119:105,160, 12:6)

  • That there is one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that all things were made by Him and continue because of Him. (Genesis 1; Psalm 90:2; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2)

  • That Jesus Christ is God, co-equal with the Father, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and gave up His life on Calvary's Cross to satisfy God's judgement for man's sin. He arose bodily from the dead and is now ascended to Heaven where He represents us at the right hand of God the Father. (Matthew 1:21-23; Isaiah 9:6;John 1:1-5, 14:10-30; Hebrews 4:14,15; I Corinthians 15:3,4; Romans 1:3,4; Acts 1:9-11; Romans 8:34.)

  • That the Holy Spirit is God and that He indwells every Christian and empowers us to be like Jesus Christ in attitude, speech and action, and because He lives in us we possess Eternal life. (John 14:12-17; Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 4:31; I Corinthians 2:12, 3:16; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13,14, 5:18)

  • That every member of the Human race is a sinner by nature as a result of Adam's disobedience and is destined for eternal judgement and separation from God. (Isaiah 53:6a, 59:1,2; Romans 3:23)

  • That Salvation is through Faith alone in the redeeming Blood of The Lord Jesus Christ shed on Calvary's Cross. This act of Faith restores our relationship with God and secures, for us, Eternal Life in Christ. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 1:12, 14:6; Titus 3:5; Galatians 3:26; Romans 5:1)

  • That there is only one true Church, the Body of Christ, and that it is His desire and our highest purpose to live in unity with all members of that true Church in order to win others to the Saviour. (John 13:34, 17:20,21; Romans 12:5; I Corinthians 12:12-27; Ephesians 4:1-6; Colossians 2:18,19)

  • That there are two symbolic acts that our Lord instructed us to observe: the Baptism of believers in Christ which demonstrates the Christian's desire to walk in a new life of devotion to Christ; and Communion, through which we express our appreciation for the sacrificial death and the resurrection for the Lord Jesus Christ.(Luke 22:19,20; I Corinthians 11:23-30; Matthew 28:19,20; Romans 6:3-7)

  • That the Lord Jesus Christ could return at any time to take His Church to be with himself for all eternity and that this prospect should influence our desire to further God's kingdom. (I Timothy 6:14,15; Titus 2:13; I John 2:17,18; I Corinthians 15:51-56; I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
